Maine: Active bill to restrict noisy gun ranges is before a committee

The NRA is concerned about a bill before the Joint State and Local Government Committee. The bill would allow local ordinances that would restrict noisy shooting ranges. Currently, noisy activity in a community can be restricted, except for gun ranges.

Anyone who feels that gun ranges should be restricted like any other activities should contact their State legislators.

The Bill

LD 489 would eliminate the gun range exemption from noise restrictions.
