(B) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS SECTION AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, A COUNTY BOARD OR PUBLIC SCHOOL MAY NOT SPEND ANY MONEY FROM ANY SOURCE, INCLUDING FROM LOCAL, STATE, FEDERAL, OR PRIVATE REVENUE SOURCES, TO DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY:
(1) PROVIDE A TEACHER WITH A FIREARM; OR
(2) TRAIN A TEACHER IN THE USE OF A FIREARM.
(C) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO A SCHOOL–APPROVED SPORT OR CLUB THAT MAKES USE OF FIREARMS.
