Nevada AB 291 - Omnibus

Legislative Counsel's Digest: Section 2 of this bill prohibits a person from importing, selling, manufacturing, 1 transferring, receiving or possessing: (1) any manual, power-driven or electronic 2 device that is designed such that when the device is attached to a semiautomatic 3 firearm, the device eliminates the need for the operator of the semiautomatic 4 firearm to make a separate movement for each individual function of the trigger and 5 materially increases the rate of fire of the semiautomatic firearm or approximates 6 the action or rate of fire of a machine gun; (2) any part or combination of parts that 7 functions to eliminate the need for the operator of the semiautomatic firearm to 8 make a separate movement for each individual function of the trigger and 9 materially increases the rate of fire of the semiautomatic firearm or approximates 10 the action or rate of fire of a machine gun; or (3) any semiautomatic firearm that 11 has been modified in any way that eliminates the need for the operator of the 12 semiautomatic firearm to make a separate movement for each individual function of 13 the trigger and materially increases the rate of fire of the semiautomatic firearm or 14 approximates the action or rate of fire of a machine gun.

Nevada SB 462 - Constable Staff

Existing law prohibits a person employed as clerical or operational staff of a 26 constable from possessing or carrying a concealed firearm. (NRS 258.065) Section 27 2.3 of this bill prohibits a person employed as clerical or operational staff of a 28 constable from possessing or carrying any firearm, including a concealed firearm.
